2 nights at ANSA Hotel Kuala Lumpur | Review

After having an adventurous two weeks journey in Vietnam, my mom and I decided to stay back in Kuala Lumpur for two days before flying back to Kuching and prepare ourselves for the next trip which to Turkey. In Kuala Lumpur, we decided to stay in Bukit Bintang area which is very unusual for us. 

ANSA Hotel Kuala Lumpur is the name of our hotel which located between Fahrenheit88 and Lot10. As I am renting a rental car from the airport, the hotel provides free parking area. But the parking area only a single floor at the basement, where I can say only fitted for 20+ cars. For two days staying here, I had no problem to park my car. There is always a space. When you enter the parking area, the security will giving you a parking card. Then you exchange your parking card at the reception when you checked-in. Its totally complimentary for the guest.

 

The reception and lobby area is just a normal and nothing extravaganza. It is simple, clean and enough sofa for the guest. There is only one receptionist in charge during my check-in and check out. So, you need to wait a little bit for the registration. Everything is smooth and the receptionist is very helpful and friendly.

 

Just for your info, this hotel did not offer any breakfast as they do not have any hotel restaurant. But, there is Starbucks the same floor with the hotel lobby and you can order Starbucks from your room and will be delivered to your room. Bonus point here, I did not find any hotel offering this service before. For your information, the Starbucks at ANSA Hotel Kuala Lumpur is the 200th Starbucks in Malaysia and it is really special as it is with the theme of traditional Malay.

 

The lift is using the card to enter the floor you are staying and I can ensure you it felt very safe.We are staying in room no 1216, on the 12th floor which is the highest floor. When you are out from the lift lobby, you already felt luxurious of the hotel. 

 

Talk about our room, I am surprise how spacious and modern the room is. Toilet and bathroom are separate which is very convenience. There is very comfortable king bed awaiting for me. I love the working table, more space for me to do my work. It is really suitable for you if you want to work from your room.

 

 

Overlooking from the window, is the famous and busiest Pavilion Shopping Mall. It felt like the shopping mall always calling your name to shop more. Surrounding, you can find everything nearby. Convenience stores, and many just a few steps from the entrance gate. Bukit Bintang is the best place to stay on the weekend if you like happening scene. MRT and Monorail station just a few minutes steps from the hotel.

Known as a smart city hotel, you basically can pairing your mobile phone to the television where you can connect the hotel's wifi to watch the FREE movies they offered. You also can download the hotel apps and chat with the hotel's staff if you need anything. And that's we called 2020!

 

On the upper floor using the escalator, there is Museum of Illusions Kuala Lumpur, ranked #1 for the Museum in Kuala Lumpur in Tripadvisor. If you decide to watch the movie in the cinema, you can just walked to the Pavilion Shopping Mall. Greyhound Cafe located at the same floor with lobby of the hotel is one of the restaurant you should try and having a delicious Fusion Thai Cuisines. 

 

Overall, my stay at ANSA Hotel Kuala Lumpur is really good. My mom is really happy with what the hotel's offers and their. The location is the main point to stay at ANSA Hotel Kuala Lumpur, plus the price is not that expensive. The room are comfortable and modern. Even there is no restaurant at this hotel, but various restaurants is available around the hotel which is not a problem at all. I am really recommend for you to stay here!
