After I enjoyed my four night on the Supertar Libra Star Cruise, I spent one night at Hulo Hotel Gallery before my next adventure. Hulo Hotel Gallery is located behind the Berjaya Times Square, and it is about 10-minutes walk to the Pavilion Shopping Mall.
Why I chose to stay here, because I saw the amazing photo of this hotel on the net. As I arrived here around 11am, I was told that I need to wait until 2pm for the check-in. I do not have a problem with that, as it is the normal procedure, unless there is a room available.
I did not mind to wait in the lobby, as the lobby is amazing. The lobby is the art gallery itself where many painting displayed around. Lobby also full with chandelier light and make it pop like a very cool places to stay.
I booked the Deluxe Double Room with a City view without breakfast at the Traveloka for RM113 per night. If you want to go to this hotel, you can easily using a GRAB and locate this hotel.
There is an elevator to go to upper level. Around 2pm, I got my room key. The room space is small for the Deluxe room. I think it' about the Superior size. If this Deluxe room, I just wonder how big the superior size. Inside the room, also basic.
There no real bed, it's the new hipster bed type, a little bit lower than normal bed. The bed is good and two pillows been provided. I love the Muay Thai Boxer painting hanging in my room.
The table is small and antics. Inside those table door, there are water heaters and coffee sachets available. If you asked me, it is too hard to do my work inside the room as limited size of table, its end up, I do not done any of my work inside the room.
The wall painted with pink colour and there are six horn speaker also in pink attached to the wall. I was really worried with the horn speaker, I was just afraid, it will fall to my head while I sleeping as two of it located exactly on top of your head while you lay down in the bed. Just pray it did not fall down. But nothing happen until I checked out.
For the car parking, I saw there is a private parking area one block after the building. I am not sure it is the complimentary for the guest or they need to pay.
For the bathroom, it is good and nice. Love the big mirrors place in the bathroom. You need to hang your cloth inside the bathroom as they room there is no cupboard.
Overall, I got my nice sleep for one night. I might not staying in the same room as I need table for my laptop and to do some writing work, plus I though the room light is too moody. Once you entered the room, you only can lay on the bed. No chairs available.
