I had a flight to Kuching from Kuala Lumpur with Malindo Air Business class. Upon checked-in, I had given a Domestic Meal Voucher which I had 5 choices of restaurants, which are Airport Fast Track KLIA, Kopi Time, Cafe Barbera, Food Paradise and Marry Brown. Of course I chose Air Port Track KLIA as I know they foods are unlimited and normal for premium lounge, it is always comfortable and cozy.
Airport Fast Track KLIA is a located next to the International Departure Gate A & B on the 5th Floor of the Main Terminal. It is before the immigration counters or any security checked points. You need to remind that there will no boarding announcement made inside the lounge, and you need to go to the boarding hall earlier, just in case there is a long line at the immigration or security checks.
This is a new services in KLIA. You also can walked-in or book online. For standard services, it will cost you RM75 per person with a 3hours access to the lounge. They have variety of package depends on your needs. Do check their official website.
As it is brand new, all the decorations and interiors looks very organized, clean and cozy. It is not that spacious, but there is a few kind of sofa and chairs for you to choose.
Light refreshments are served from 7am till 11pm. They had sandwiches, fruits, desserts, cakes, pasta and noodles. Unlimited hot beverages also available. But no alcoholic drinks except you booked for Premier Access package.
Wifi facilities is good. They also provided the PC and the printing services. All the crews are good with smiles.
During my time in the lounge, one of the light refreshments served at the buffet table was Tuna Puff. But it was really embarrassing that they served the puff with 5% tuna in it. One of the Malaysia jokes, about the "Wind Curry Puff" or "Karipap Angin", which about when you eat the Curry Puff, inside was nothing (no potato, no meat) and it's like you been cheated. It is the same experiences. I tweeted and posted my status in my status about this, surprisingly they replied it mentioned they will take note and will improved. Kudos!
