Hey guys! I had a family staycation this time only 1 hour from our house. We decided to spend our time at the Damai Puri Resort, Kuching Sarawak. Staying only 1 night, we booked for 3 twin rooms, which 2 rooms had a connecting door. Using a AirAsiaGo to book the hotel, it is came without a breakfast. Here, I want to share you a simple hotel review about this property.
What I DO like 😍 about this hotel?
😍The view
I love the view from our room balcony. You can enjoy the view of the pool and the beach it self. Plus the mountains and the coconut tree. It is so mesmerizing
😍Huge swimming pool
Damai Puri Resort have a very huge swimming pool for you to enjoy. The depth is reasonable and the cleanliness is maintained.
😍Kids swimming pool
Another bonus is here there are kids swimming pool equipped with the slide. Your kids will love it here. I had fun playing those slides with my nephews and nieces.
😍Many facilities and activities
Surprisingly in this resort there are so many activities you can do with your family. Whether having a gym, table tennis, side pocket and etc, surely you family will having fun. 
😍Very near with the beach
One of the resort with the beautiful beach. Just be careful that the wave might be a lit bit strong. Sunset is pretty amazing here. And you can dip in the natural pool at the Camp Permai just next to the resort.
😍 Cheap foods at their restaurant
We were having a family dinner at their restaurant as we do not want to go far from the resort. Surprisingly they had a value meal package which are very affordable and and very good foods too.
What I DO NOT 😩 like about this hotel?
😩Check in process
They messed up our check-in. Took some time to sort this out. I am not really happy about this.
It is so sad that this resort is not well-maintained. All the elevators not working. In the room you can see everything are old. Around the hotel, the rooftop, walls and everything are very poor looking and bad impression.
😩Car Park
Car Park is too far from the properties but still inside the the gate. Just next to the guard post. But at night, it is really creepy to walk to your car.
😩Dead & creepy night
At night, this resort is really quiet and calm. The light around are dim. Most of the upper floor room are dark and empty. It makes you do not want to go out from your room at night.
😩Unfriendly staffs
The staffs never greet me while they passed by. Even at the lobby, nobody will help us to bring the bags into the car. I think they should trained their staffs to be more professional.
🤓 Conclusion
I just hope Damai Puri Resort improved their properties as I see there are so many things to be done if they want their resort to survive for the next few years. It is once an excellent resort, but currently their name fading from day to day.
