After spending a few days in Sihanoukville, so I decided to enjoy an island life. I had stayed at Sok San Beach Resort which is located at the Sok San Beach, Koh Rong. And here is the score card during my stay at the resort:

Boat Transfer
Boat transfer to the resort from Sihanoukville is located at the Pier Port 65. There is a counter only special for Sok San Beach Resort. All the check-in is happened here. Make sure you had booking your boat transfer earlier to prevent dissapointment. Per day, there are only 3 boat transfer depending on the weather. One way transfer will cost 20USD per person, and it is only for the guest of Sok San Beach Resort. The journey took about 1 hour.
Inside the boat, you will given drinking water and cold towel. And before the journey begins, there will be briefing by the captain. Depending on the weather, if its good, you will arrive in front of the resort, but if not (me experience this), you will be arrive at another jetty which need another 4-wheel transfer with bumpy road.
From Pier 65 to Sok San Beach Resort: 9am, 1pm, 4.30pm
From Sok San Beach Resort to Pier 65: 7.30am, 11am, 3pm

Checked-In
When I arrived at the resort, my group had been asked to wait at the waiting area. They distributed the key, giving the welcome drinks, and there will be a simple briefing by the reception. The briefing includes the explanation of facilities around the resort, safety, and what activities can be done at this resort. Their English is quiet good. I asked a lot of question regarding the activities as I still can't decide what I should do in here.

My Room
My room was Deluxe Double Bed with Sea View. I think when you are staying on the island, with a beautiful beach, you don't really mind about the room. This room is what I really need to take a nap or doing my job. As Cambodia is always in hot weather, relaxing inside the room with full blast AC is really heaven on earth.
As you can see, the room is not really spacious but still good. The bed is nice. The do not have cupboard, just an open rack for your cloth, a deposit box.
What they do not provide: I was surprised they not provide hot water electric kettle in the room, plus a few coffee, tea and sugar sachet. On the first day, I requester the kettle, unfortunately they ran out the kettle. I only got my kettle on the 2nd day.

If you look at my score card, WIFI has the lowest score. This is because during my stay, the wifi did not work out.

What is unique here is they have two sink. The toilet amenities are standard. The shower pressure is good. It also offering hot and cold shower.
In the 2nd day in the morning, one of my toilet water hose were stuck and I can't stop the water. The technician had attended it immediately and changing the valve of the water hose.

What I love the most is my room sea view. It is the most breathtaking view. As you can see, my room unit is made from the wood. Actually I can hear when people talking from the next room.

First time ever, I brought a trolley bag for my island journey.
Restaurants
Most of the time, I just had my lunch and dinner at the resort restaurant. Breakfast also offering variety of foods, but I did not eat meat, so my much was limited but still I was full every morning.
Having lunch or dinner here, expect to pay 10USD each meal.

Other Facilities
They have mini library, or you can borrow and watch the survivor DVD, as one of the Survivor edition took place at Koh Rong.

This resort is located very secluded so expect it is really privacy area. There are a few beach hut for you to relax the whole day hearing the waves.
The best time to get perfect color of the sea is around noon time.
Just enjoy your time at this amazing resort.

Conclusion
I love every minute I spend at this amazing resort. I think it is one of the paradise at the Southern Cambodia. If you are looking for privacy, this is the place. If you are coming to Sihanoukville, doo not forget to stay at least one night at Koh Rong.
