As I arrived in Kuala Lumpur from Bangkok early in the morning and my next flight is around 8pm, I plan to stay nearby airport just to take a few hours nap and refresh myself. In the Bangkok, I had slept at the airport, and honestly, I did not get any good sleep as the airport is too cold and busy even though at the midnight and early morning.
I bought the room through TRAVELOKA.com, and it only cost me RM118 for 12 hours usage of the room, from 7am till 7pm. Trust me it is really worth it. Comfortable bed and you can freshen up.
How about capsule hotel? It is no for me, I had stayed in capsule hotel in KLIA, I was suffocating as there is not ventilation going inside the capsule. I felt uncomfortable during my stay. And it was different experience with other capsule where at least you can felt a little bit air or ventilation. So, for now, capsule hotel in KLIA2 is a big no no for me.
Tune Hotel KLIA2 is just less than 10 minutes walk from KLIA2 and there is a special walkway to the hotel. So, do not worry about getting wet if the weather is not permitted. Tune Hotel KLIA2 is really a huge building. When you enter the lobby, you can see how spacious the area is.
The checked-in was smooth, I was immediately getting my key. Next to the lobby there is like a convenience store, actually it is not a store, it just hotel's convenience store. So if you need anything, you do not to go to KLIA2. You can grab things you need and pay to the counter.
Super love the lobby area vibes as many green plants around and make surrounding super cost. I love the contemporary-hipster interior. It is not at the lobby, but you can see the brilliant interior at their restaurant.
I stayed at room number 118. When I arrived, the door is in open position, and it is just block by the door locker. Here is the thing, the keycard you took from the lobby actually is not your room key card, it is actually only the room power card. It is not function at the door, that is why they open the door and block it with key locker. So, that is mean, if you are alone, if you want to go outside for a while, you need to make your door open, if not you will not be able to go inside except asking help from the receptionist.
The bed is comfortable. I did not waste time, when I arrived, I took a showers and then quickly took a nap. I did not have any lunch that day as I am too tired and really need my sleep. Around 5pm, I wake up and freshen up, checked out and then went to KLIA2.
Yeah, RM118 for 12 hours use is worth it. It is almost the same price with the capsule hotel and cheaper than an executive lounge. Don't you think so?
