Review: Where to eat in Kuala Lumpur? | J's Dining Gate Isetan Lot 10 | Sushi & Tendon

J's Gate Dining is located at the Isetan Japanese Store in Lot 10 Shopping Mall, Bukit Bintang. It is now becoming my No.1 to get quality Japanese foods with an affordable price. I had been here for a few times now. And if you are Japanese foods lover, I really recommend you to give a try.

As I traveled in Japan more than 10 times every year, I will never miss to have a Tendon at my favorite restaurant , named Tempura Tendon Tenya. I think there served the best Tendon ever. Since my first try, I am searching for the Tendon in Malaysia which has the same taste and quality like them. At last I found it, in J's Gate Dining.

J's Gate Dining is same like food court concept, but actually it consists of 18 different restaurants. One of it only offering Tendon. The cheapest set is around RM33. For me the price is fine as standard in Japan, which mostly cost you around 500-800yen for the basic Tendon set.

They have the open kitchen concept and most of crews are Japanese, where you can see the name tag. The greetings and services are the same when you are in Japan (if you been there, you will know what I meant). The efficiency and how they served your foods are excellent. For a while, I was carried away and thought I am currently in the Japan.

 

The tempura was really fresh and the taste wise is exactly what I had tasted before in Japan. My searching for the best tempura in Kuala Lumpur had been ended. The feeling of every bites are priceless. All the ingredients are imported from Japan. Basically they brought Japan to Malaysia for us to enjoy. I really recommend Set 1 (RM33) and set 2 (RM44).

You can bought a sushi at the next store too and enjoy your tempura together with the sushi. The sushis are great and fresh too. Surprisingly the price is affordable and standard with other fast-food sushi restaurant in Malaysia.
