Touched down at Larnaca Airport, our driver picked us up and we went to Limassol for about 2 hours journey. We had been dropped near the main road as the van cannot get into the hotel area as the road is too narrow. Our stay for tonight is called Kapetanios Odysseia Hotel.
Extensively renovated in the winter of 2015/16, the Kapetanios Odysseia Hotel welcomes both holidaymakers and business travellers who want to enjoy easy access to all that Limassol has to offer. The hotel is situated in a privileged and central area of Limassol, only 100 meters from the beach and within walking distance from the zoo, the Municipal Gallery, the Archaeological Museum and the old city centre.
This 3-star superior hotel is known to offer 4-star facilities in its 159 rooms that are all designed and decorated to offer urban comfort. For additional space and total privacy the superior rooms also provide a large terrace or balcony with sunbathing facilities.
We walked about 2 minutes before the hotel building welcoming us. We arrived at Kapetanios Odysseia Hotel around 8pm. The checked-in was smooth as the registration had been done earlier, and we only get our key from the receptionist.
We dropped our luggage to our room and direct to the hotel restaurant for the dinner buffet. Nobody else at the restaurant as it was already late and the restaurant ready to close.
I did not eat much. Then I went back to my room. The elevator space only enough for three persons. For our room, I was not really sure what type of room we stayed. Maybe superior twin room.
There is a balcony, unfortunately our room is at second floor, with the view of car park. The room interior is normal, seem a little bit old fashion and dull, but usually this is standard interior if you can see in old resort in Malaysia.
A bath tube also provided in our bathroom but I did not have a chance to use it. Even though I got jet lagged, I still got my quality sleep.
In the morning, our breakfast was good enough. Outside the restaurant, there is a big swimming pool. Unfortunately the weather a little bit chill and not suitable for swimming.
Hotel lobby is full with tables and chairs. There are two PC for you to use. The staffs here are just average attitude, not so good, and not so bad.
The best thing for me, just in front of the hotel, there is a convenience shop which sell souvenirs. I got my fridge magnets which is excellent!
As we stayed here during autumn, I am sure during summer, this hotel is packed as it is really near with the beach.
