The coral-coloured Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood is complete with 19th Century local architecture and designs, which makes the area click-worthy. Visit the Alserkal Cultural Foundation block and head up to the roof to snap Instagram-worthy photos of the maze of traditional houses!
2. Dubai Frame
The 150-meter tall Dubai Frame is strategically built in Zabeel Park, between the historical and modern sides of the city. The attraction is a great photo stop both from up close and far off. From the observation deck, see both the old and new sides of Dubai; on the modern side, one can marvel in the sight of the city skyline – which includes views of the Burj Khalifa.

The recently opened La Mer comprises four distinct zones – a beach, leisure and entertainment hub, selection of tantalising cafes and restaurants, and a waterpark, called Laguna Waterpark. With twinkling lights and artsy murals along the beachfront promenade, the attraction is teeming with Instagrammable backdrops. Explore wide open spaces or the bustling back streets complete with eclectic street art for unique clicks.
4. Sunset Beach
Dubai’s beaches are picture-perfect throughout the year. An excellent place for Instagrammers and photographers, take time to capture the perfect shot. 5. Madinat Jumeirah
With its beautiful 18th century local architecture, Madinat Jumeirah is one of the city’s best places to indulge in hours of photo-taking. Perched by the Arabian Gulf, Madinat Jumeirah offers a prime location to take close-up pictures of the Burj Al Arab hotel, framed by historical-like buildings, the azure sky and turquoise waters. Alserkal Avenue is a haven for Instagrammers. The 500,000sq ft art district has a raw, industrial feel and is home to a collection of over 25 international and emerging art galleries, hip cafes, design stores and artisanal spaces. Venture inside the warehouses and discover a myraid of colours and wonders, along with opportunities to engage in artsy activities – including art jamming, catching an independent movie screening and lounging in cool cafés. The venue is open from Sundays to Thursdays, 10am – 7pm.
8. Burj Khalifa
It’s impossible to list Instagram-worthy spots in Dubai without mentioning the skyscraper that defines the iconic skyline of the city, and its surrounding area. The Burj Khalifa is one of the most Instagrammed buildings in the world.
Situated opposite Burj Khalifa, the restaurants of Souk Al Bahar also offer a prime location to take a close-up picture of the iconic tower, framed by the Dubai Fountain. How about two feats of architecture in one? When standing in front of Dubai Opera, you can not only capture the dhow-inspired performing arts centre, but also Burj Khalifa in the one shot. 9. Last Exit
There will never be a dull moment at Last Exit, a one-of-its-kind themed food truck concept park. Located in various key locations, including those conveniently situated on Sheikh Zayed Road between Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Each location has its own unique theme, from outlandish to equestrian complete with food trucks featuring playful colours and funky designs that make great social media posts.
