I had spent one night at Grand Bluewave Hotel which located in Shah Alam, Selangor. The best thing is the location just next to the famous Blue Mosque of Shah Alam, and from my room's window, and the bonus is when I am looking at my window, I can see the Blue Mosque. Magnificent!
I stayed at twin deluxe room. Surprisingly the distance of two beds are near to each other and becoming a double bed with separate bed sheet. The room is spacious, easy to move around and I love the their carpet patterns. At the wall, it's look like a Chinese style of pattern but i's actually not.
The amenities are good. Fresh flower as a welcoming gift is an excellent gesture. First time I received a fresh rose as a gift in the hotel room. Kudos to the management. For the bathroom, there is a bathtub inside.
For the facilities, there is a gymnasium for the those who do not want to miss their gym schedule. Also, you can jump in the pool which is quite big and well maintained. I spent most my time in the pool. Also provided here is the Musholla at the Lobby area.
At night, I had a dinner at the Agehan Japanese Restaurant. Actually, here is the first Halal Japanese Restaurant in a Five Star Hotel. As a Japanese food lover, I loved every bite of the dishes. I just wish the dishes more variety. But it was a good dinner buffet.
For the breakfast, variety of menu to be choose. I am sure you will full before you start your day. Last year, I went to the same restaurant for the Berbuka Puasa, here is one of the popular spot for the Ramadhan Buffet.
Checked in and checked out process was smooth. Car park is available on the lower ground floor. I do not mind to stay again in Grand Bluewave Hotel whenever I got work to do in the Shah Alam.
