Nyepi is the first day of the New Year in accordance to the Balinese Saka calendar. It is celebrated with 24 hours of inactivity and the entire island comes to a complete standstill. This follows an evening of festivity where giant monster effigies are paraded through the streets. The lead up to Nyepi involves time-honored rituals with offerings to appease evil spirits and restore balance to Bali for a fresh new start.

On the eve of Nyepi Day, 16^th March, a beachfront traditional dinner to celebrate Balinese New Year with local cuisine and cultural entertainment will be available at IDR 450,000++ person. The next day, 17^th March, all guests will be required to remain in the confines of the resort and so a flavorful international buffet dinner will be served at Seasonal Tastes from 6.30pm onwards for just IDR 495,000++ per person.

Nyepi is the perfect time to unwind and the award-winning Heavenly Spa by Westin has crafted a replenishing wellness package for families to enjoy together. This includes soothing massage treatments for two adults and two children plus a family yoga class for just IDR 2,100,000 per package.
