I had been in Jakarta many times due
Jakarta is a transit hub for me to go to other places. I am sure that some of
you might not like Jakarta because of the traffic jam problem here. But if you
can plan your travel properly, traveling Jakarta might be wonderful if you are
hunting for foods.
Of course, in Jakarta, you can choose
variety of foods. But, if you feel want to try western food, I am recommending
you to try the restaurant called Holycow! Steakhouse. Yes, I found this
restaurant through my Foursquare apps. Yes, I am still using Foursquare as I
know Indonesia loves to rate the restaurant in this apps.
Holycow! Steakhouse has a few branch around
Jakarta, and luckily one of the restaurant is located very near to my hotel.
Only 5 minutes journey using my Grab Bike. That night, I don’t felt to walk
around. So, I just booked by Grab Bike. It was really cheap. Thank you
Indonesia to introduced Grab Bike.

I can’t remember which branch I went, but
for sure I remembered it is located at Central Jakarta. The restaurant located
at the 3rd floor inside the small building which mostly a restaurant
in every floor.. When I arrived, the restaurant had one table with customer.
Might be it had been late, almost closing hour.
The staffs greeted me nicely and handed me the menu. I was surprised with the price of each menu. For me, it is super cheap. If in Malaysia, the price might be double or triple. I ordered Medium rare Buddy’s Special Steak, served with green bean saute's , mashed potato, and mushroom sauce. It only cost me 95K rupiah, which is around RM30.
Love the tenderness of the meat. Medium rare was perfectly good. The mushroom sauce was so good. The meat flavour was balanced taste. I can say I had a good time enjoying my food here. Plus the place gave me some privacy ambience as not so many customers here. Sometimes eating alone can be awkward.
Anyway, you can give it a try. I suggest
you to go with wagyu beef. Enjoy. You can check out there FB page, Insta or
