New Hotel at Genting Highlands - Best Western Premier Ion Delemen is Officially Launched


Holidaymakers looking for a luxurious break amongst the clouds on their next visit to Genting Highlands can opt to stay at the latest hotel in the area, the swanky Best Western Premier Ion Delemen (BWP lon Delemen). 

The name ion Delemen is derived from the five elements theory, a Chinese philosophy that is used to describe the interaction and relationship between objects. With the five natural elements derived from the age-old philosophical concept of Feng Shui at the core of its design philosophy water, earth, wood, metal and fire the property is undoubtedly a unique destination, that has taken pains to ensure that it coexists harmoniously with its natural environment

The stunning property is located 6,000 feet above sea level and is spread across 10.2 acres of pristine greenery. As an added bonus, guests will enjoy mountain views that are bound to take their breath away and fresh, cool air that should add a spring to their step. 

1st Bedroom (3 Bedrooms Suite)

The property is made up of 246 resort-inspired deluxe rooms and 1, 2 & 3 bedroom suites, the first of its kind in the vicinity. There’s a lot to love about BWP Ion Delemen, including an indoor gym and sauna, a heated infinity pool, wellness spa, adventure course with a flying fox line, children’s playground at the sky garden as well as several restaurants that cater to international as well as local tastes. BWP Ion Delemen is located just 2.5 kilometres from Genting Highlands and guests will be able to travel there via the shuttle service provided by the hotel. 


1 Bedroom Living Area

Ensuring the new hotel will be operated by a well-established and respected partner, the owners signed up with Best Western International as a franchise to brand this worldclass facility. The concept for the luxurious property was conceived in 2011 and is scheduled for completion in 2018

Guests will appreciate not just the property’s seamless blending into its surroundings but also the unique art and furniture pieces throughout the hotel. All the property’ 5 design features, including the colour schemes for each area within the hotel, draw inspiration from the five energies and the highland area, the property is located on.

Best Western Premier Ion Delemen has been launched by Pemangku Raja Pahang Tengku Mahkota Tengku Abdullah Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah and he expressed his belief that  the latest luxurious address in Genting Highlands would contribute to bringing a greater number of tourists to  the state.

Future plans for the extensive property include a 22,000 sq ft wellness centre operated by JK Medical Group, which will offer various aesthetic treatments as well as plastic surgery procedures. Scheduled to be fully completed in 2017, guests can also look forward to added meeting space, over 300 additional rooms and an executive lounge on level 35 that could claim to be the highest executive lounge in Malaysia.

  12. there's no doubt that this place will attract tourists...but i wouldnt be surprised either if it is filled with our locals too....coz genting is like one of the best and quick getaways from the city...
