Standing at 1,462 meters, Gunung Besar Hantu, which is the highest peak in Negeri Sembilan, is situated in this forest reserve along with its highest waterfall, known as Lata Kijang (Deer Waterfall).
Kenaboi Forest Reserve is located in the district of Jelebu, Negeri Sembilan, which is about 85 km from Kuala Lumpur. In 2008, the state government declared an area of 9,420 hectares of the Kenaboi Forest Reserve as a State Wildlife Park but was later renamed Kenaboi State Park.

☑️ Entry permit to Taman Negeri Kenaboi must be obtained from either park headquarters in Seremban or at the park office located at the entrance of Taman Negeri Kenaboi.
☑️ There is no public transportation to Kenaboi for now. Private cars or taxis can be hired from the town of Seremban or Jelebu.
☑️ Dormitories and chalets are available for nightly rental. It is RM15.00 for a bed in the dormitory and RM100 for a 2-bedroom chalet per night.
☑️ The nearest eatery is at Kuala Klawang (20-30mins drive from Taman Negere Kenaboi. It is advisable for visitors to bring their own food and cooking facility. Only gas cooking is permitted. Open burning is prohibited. Catering is available of larger group for advanced booking.
☑️ Visitors can bring their own tent. Each campground will be charged at RM5.00. Tents can be rented from the park at RM30.00 for a 4 men tent and RM40.00 for a 6 men tent, both subject to availability.
☑️ A guide is available for hire for treks to Gunung Besar Hantu for RM100 with a maximum of 10 pax.
☑️ Gunung Besar Hantu (1464m) and Gunung hantu Kecil (1354m) are great for the adventurous souls. It is a 2 days’ climb that can be arranged with a guide through the park headquarters.

☑️ Gua Semong and Gua Harimau are perfect for some adrenaline rush actions.
☑️ The Park HQ is equipped with spacious campsite, dormitory, chalets, toilet, shower,dining and multi-purpose hall. Prayer room is also available.
☑️ A RM5 permit is required at the park entrance.
☑️Tents are available for rent but you will require your own essentials ie sleeping bags.
☑️ Campfire is allowed.
☑️ There are no shops or restaurants around the area, so pack sufficient food and drinking water.

ReplyDeleteU mention once, that open fire are not allowed, only cooking gas. Then u mention campfire are allowed. I didnt get u cause im still new on this.
