I travelled to Bangkok on my birthday. Yes! I am going to Bangkok for the third times and for now, I will experiencing Songkran Festival also known as Water Festival. Why I booked with Malaysia Airlines? As I found cheap return flight ticket to Bangkok compare to other airlines including budget airlines. Malaysia Airlines is the cheapest among all, flight during Songkran Festival.
Surprisingly, the flight MH782 from Kuala Lumpur to Bangkok is using A330 and it is full flight. It might because everyone are going to Songkran Festival, plus Malaysia Airlines having a decent promotion ticket price.
The seat configuration is 2-4-2, and I happened to seat at aisle on the middle section. Before the flight took off, the cabin crew had cross check with me about my special meal. Yes, I felt a little bit special. LOL.
For your info, I booked my special meal through the Malaysia Airlines apps. I chose Seafood Meal for this time. As always, I get my box meal first before everyone else immediately after seat belt sign off after took off.
Love the meal. It's a fish with tomato sauce with potatoes and vegetable. I still disappointing with Malaysia Airlines as they are serving the BOX meal to the international flight. I flew with Thai Airways before, and I think Thai Airways services are the best. Hopefully Malaysia Airlines service will improve for the international flight like this in the future. Do bring back the full meal service. But if I think about the price, I do not mind though.
Unfortunately, the in flight entertainment were faulty during the whole flight. Still useless even though using A330. LOL! Why Malaysia Airlines? Why? I am not sure the IFE in Business class, if it can't be use, they must felt cheated as they pay for high price but still get the the poor services like economy.
