If you flying Business Class with Malaysia Airlines from Baiyun International Airport, Guangzhou, you will get the complimentary access to the Guangzhou Premium Lounge. Located inside the International Departure Hall after the immigration and security checks counters.
The registration was smooth and unfortunately no smile sighted from the front desk staffs. We was well informed there is no boarding announcement be made inside the lounge, but do not be worry, there is the flight schedule screen around.
We did not expect nothing from the lounge, as we assumed that the foods are not Halal. At first we planning to have a little rest, charge our mobile phone, having a coffee and fruits before we board our flight.
When I wandered around, I was so surprised that most of the foods, they labelled with HALAL logo. Each food also you can know whether it is a vegetarian ingredient. I told my parents about this, then we had our big breakfast inside the lounge. I drank one milk from the box, suddenly I realize the mascot on the box is a piglet. I do not know, whether the milk from the pig or cow. Does anyone can confirm with me, there is pig milk being commercialize? I just hope it just a mascot. LOL.
Anyway, the lounge itself is not that big, and have many partition and each partition having a different type of lounge. In my opinion, the lounge a little bit crowded, but we managed to find a good sofa for our self with a electrical socket next to it.
In here, variety of cakes and dessert been offered. Unfortunately it in the fridge, and you need to ask the crew if you want to have some. Most of the time, the crew are too busy.
The toilet are is clean and dry. I did not explore too much as I am busy having my foods. I can't remember if there any shower facilities.
Hopefully, they can upgrade their lounge, make more spacious like in KLIA so it will not becoming too crowded and becoming unpleasant experience.
Thank you brother for your review. I had called the lounge and confirm the milk you drank with the piglet mascot on it. Its cow milk, dont worry
