I had attended Grand Bluewave Hotel Shah Alam Iftar Charity event on the 3rd of Ramadhan. I got so many Iftar invitation this year, but my priority is the charity Iftar.
In commemorating the holy month of Ramadan 1438H/2017M, Grand BlueWave Hotel Shah Alam (GBWHSA) has taken the opportunity in inviting orphanage from Pertubuhan Kebajikan Telaga Kasih Selangor along with the Baitul Ulfah Centre for a breakfasting event. Acted as part of GBWHSA’s corporate social responsibility program (CSR), the Iftar Charity Event 1438H/2017M was held on 29th May 2017 at Borak-Borak Café.

Acted as part of GBWHSA’s corporate social responsibility program (CSR), the Iftar Charity Event 1438H/2017M was held on 29th May 2017 at Borak-Borak Café.
GBWHSA Hotel Manager, Tuan Haji Mohd Ghazali Sayed Ibrahim mentioned “Alhamdulillah, we are glad to be given another chance to continue this tradition in conducting corporate social responsibility program for Ramadan. We always appreciate the supports given by our guests and clients, we take this opportunity as a gesture for us to give back to the public. This program is also aimed in strengthening our bonds with the media, blogger and concerned corporate friends.”
The opening ceremony started with doa recital and followed by opening speech by Tuan Haji Mohd Ghazali Sayed Ibrahim. The event continued with ‘duit raya’ and souvenir giving ceremony to both the children from Pertubuhan Kebajikan Telaga Kasih Selangor and Baitul Ulfah Centre, presented by the Hotel Manager himself.
The event followed by photo session ceremony with the orphanage, sponsor and media/blogger. There will be also a ‘nasyid’ performance by Baitul Ulfah Centre specially brought by Yayasan Ikhlas in enlighten the Ramadan environment for the program.
Along with Grand BlueWave Hotel Shah Alam, this program also received great support for sponsorship from Yakult and Dr. Azimuth Spa.
Breakfasting with generous feast from Grand BlueWave Hotel Shah Alam, smiles can be seen lingering on the children face especially when each of them went home with hands loaded of souvenirs.
