SkyStage and SkyKids Warrior will Upbeat Tourism Activities in Putrajaya

The public and tourists have the opportunity to relax while enjoying SkyStage performances for free in Skyrides Festivals Park Putrajaya (Skyrides) on every Saturday starting from March 2016. In addition, Skyrides also introducing SkyKids Warrior which a version of SkyWarrior Rainforest for children aged 4 until 10 years old.

SkyStage is a stage performance which highlighting music and dance performances with capacity up to 1,000 people (standing) at one time. SkyStage is further supplemented by a 10’ x 5’ LED giant screen and serves to enhance the overall performance experience of the venue at the same time can be used for any promotional video or movie shows. As to the public, there is no fee to be charged to watch the performances at SkyStage and we’re expecting it will becoming an exciting attraction for families to spend their quality times on weekend.

SkyKids Warrior is another facility under the children’s zone at Skyrides Festivals Park that includes 15 obstacle challenge courses as well as a Clubhouse, all of which are dedicated play areas for children age between 4 and 10 years old. The SkyKids Warrior was mooted following the highly successful SkyWarrior Rainforest Challenge course that saw enormous interests from “under-aged” visitors who wanted to participate in the course. The ticket price for SkyKids Warrior is RM38.00 per entry.

During SkyStage and SkyKids Warrior launch ceremony, YBhg. Datuk Seri Haji Hasim bin Haji Ismail, President of Perbadanan Putrajaya and also a Chairman of Marina Putrajaya Sdn Bhd said “The two new additions to the Skyrides Festivals Park marks the further expansion of the family theme park’s facilities that currently include the Skyrides Balloon, SkyWarrior, SkyTaste, SkyGallery, SkyDemo, SkyKids and SkyCruise since the Park’s opening on 29^th April 2015 by the Minister of Tourism & Culture, YB. Dato' Seri Mohamed Nazri bin Abdul Aziz. The Skyrides is a fast becoming the most iconic facet of the federal administrative capital city of Putrajaya due its high visibility for visitors who came from all over the world and to the tourists too” he said.

The park located in a strategic location next to Hot Air Balloon Fiesta will ease public to visit this theme park. While public are waiting for the hot air balloon which only fly in early morning and evening, they can take the opportunity to ride Skyrides helium balloon which operates every day from 10.00 am until 12.00 midnight during Hot Air Balloon Fiesta Putrajaya.

SkyKids Warrior launched

The normal Skyrides operation hour is open daily from 10.00 am until 10.00 pm Sundays through Thursdays and from 10:00am until 12.00 midnight on Fridays, Saturdays and eves of public holiday.
