Where to Eat? - Kota Kinabalu - Spicy Chicken Rice at Peppermint Vietnam

I was hungry and did not know where to have lunch. So I opened my mobile apps Foursquare to find affordable and interesting restaurant. This was when the Peppermint Vietnam came out.

Peppermint Vietnam has many branches around the city, and they have mix review about their restaurant. I just gave a try.

Once you enter the restaurant, you can see HALAL certificate hang on the wall near the counter. Most of the workers using hijab.

I look into the menu, wow, of course there are so many Vietnam signature dishes such as PHO Vietnam Beef Noodle. So if you really miss Vietnam food, you can go here, plus the price is reasonable not like Halal Restaurant around Saigon, which is so expensive.

As I was very hungry, I did not plan to eat noodle. So I ordered the Spicy Chicken Rice instead along the Soya Cincau as my drink. For your info, Spicy Chicken Rice here is one of the signature dish. It cost only RM6.50.

The taste? I thought there was no extraordinary compare to other Chicken Rice. The taste is good and nothing so special about the dish.

And I think I should try another dish next time!

Location: Just your "Foursquare" to find the branch around the city, and WAZE if you want to drive or Google Maps if you want to walk.
