Currently there are a lot of Halal restaurants in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. I thinks it is more than 10 restaurants around here, weather its Arab, Indonesia, Indian or Malaysian cuisines. It is up to you where do you want to go. There is also a local Muslim foods stall, but you need some transportation and guides to go to the location.
After almost two weeks in Cambodia, of course I am craving for the Malaysian foods, As Phnom Penh was my last destination, I decided to try a few halal restaurant that served Malaysian cuisines. Actually this was my third time in Phnom Penh. I really want to try all the halal restaurant in thi town, unfortunately I do have the time and my stomach is literally small (really? LOL)

1. The Gulai Restaurant
The Gulai Restaurant is a partnership between Malaysian and Cambodians. It is located at the center of Phnom Penh, and if you are staying around the town, you can simply walk to the restaurant.

Pros:
-Big and comfortable restaurant
-Have the AC area
-Can accommodate big group
-Menu variety
-Staffs can speak Malay
Cons:
-The price. As you can see, 4USD you can get Kampong Fried Rice. So that's mean it is around RM16. But for your info, most of the Halal Restaurant, the food is around that price
How much I love this restaurant: 8/10

2. Cafe Malaya
3 years ago, I went to this restaurant for my lunch. Myself and both my parents love it. After I arrived in Kampot, I immediately went to this restaurant which located next to the Central Market itself. The best thing is, you only need to pay USD5 for the Malaysia cuisines buffet not includes your drinks.

Pros:
-Pay only 5USD then eat as many as you want
-Run by family, half Cambodian and the other half is Kedah, so they speak "Utara"
-Location walkable next to Central Market.
-Got "Rendang", "Ayam Masak Kicap" and etc, and the foods served is like home cooking,
Cons:
-Small space, it would be trouble if you are in a big group
-The lighting inside a little bit dull but I have no problem.
-As its near the Central Market, just be careful outside for the thief or bag snatcher.
