Today is the special day for Kuching International Airport as we receiving Hong Kong Airlines inaugural flight. Hong Kong Airlines' inaugural flight to Kuching was given a welcome boost of water supply as soon arrive to the aircraft parking at the Kuching International Airport at 5:30 this morning .
The historic flight , which took three hours , 30 minutes , leaving the Hong Kong International Airport at 1.55 am, while the return flight would leave at 6.20am and arrive in Hong Kong at 9.55 am.

Arrival passengers and crew were welcomed by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism , who is also chief executive officer of Sarawak Tourism Board , Datu Ik Pahon Joyik and General Manager ( marketing ) Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad , Mohamed Sallauddin Mat Sah .
