Review: Malaysia Airlines MH376 & MH377 | Business Class A330 | Kuala Lumpur - Guangzhou (Return)

I had bought the Business class tickets for my parents and myself two months before we flew to Guangzhou. That time, I found that there was a glitch in the Malaysia Airlines website where the economy class ticket is the same with business class. It is about RM824 per person for return.

Flight to Guangzhou, MH376 is using A330, and the return flight, MH377 also the same flight. The duration of the flight is about 4 hours.

When I bought the ticket, I reserved our seat immediately just using Malaysia Airlines android apps. Currently their apps is little bit user friendly. I got myself a throne seat, 4C, both flight, and my parents I chose couple seats behind me.

Before we boarded the flight, we enjoyed our stay at the MAS Golden Lounge, Satellite at KLIA and Guangzhou Premium Lounge. You can read my reviews about both amazing lounge.

To be honest, the throne seat is great like it's name. I love the spacious space around me, where I got my own side table and mini locker. So suitable as I brought so many gadget with me.

The cabin crews are full with smiles and very helpful during our flight. Usually they called the passengers by their name, but not in this flight. But it was fine. It is reminded me with the Malaysia Hospitality, which brought them to win the Best Cabin Crews Award few years ago. Hope they can maintained, and going strong to grab back the title.

As you well known, Business Class A330 can be converted to the flat bed. As I decided to watch the movie for the whole flight, I did not decide to make my seat to bed, same as my parents.

Noise cancellation headphone is provided to all the business class passengers. I did not used and try the headphone as I got myself  aSony MX1000 Noise Control Headphone, where I can adjusted the sound based on the pressure of flight.

Even though I was too full after visiting the premium/golden lounge, I can't wait for my in flight meals. There is a menu card given as the front seat pocket.

Flight Meals for MH376 Kuala Lumpur - Guangzhou

I chose Dim Sum Selection. It was served with lotus leaf rice, prawn har gow, three-star dumpling, spinach dumpling and siew mai served with hoi sin and chilli sauce. To be honest, my first time having a lotus leaf rice, it was yummy!

The appetizers and desserts served together at first. My appetizer was simple which is the seasonal fruits. And my desserts was Sago and Mango Pudding with Pamelo. It was delicious and refreshing. Actually I thought both dishes was a dessert. LOL.

Flight Meals for MH377 Guangzhou -Kuala Lumpur

For the return flight, first we were served with the special dishes of Malaysia Airlines, their famous satay! For real, their satay is perfect. As I know my parents did not eat lamb, but both of them having a lamb satay, and they impressed how good that lamb satay is. The peanut sauce is amazing.

For starter, I have the Garden Salad with thousand island dressing and Chocolate Walnut Cake with toffee sauce as a dessert. The cake is very moist and the taste is balance.

For my main course, I chose Pan-Fried Fish with Lemon Herb Sauce presented with Mashed Potatoes, snap peas and pumpkins. Believe me, even the portion looks small, but I am really happy to choose this dish. It's look very good on the plate and amazingly full with flavor.
