Being trolled and having Hi-Tea with Business Class Malaysia Airlines B737-800 KL to Bintulu

I always visited my sister’s family in Bintulu. So, after my long journey to Cebu, Bangkok and Chiang Mai, I decided to fly to Bintulu using Malaysia Airlines, and I really want to feel to travel with style with Business Class as my own self reward.

I had bid the business class upgrade a few days before with a minimum price. Luckily, my bid had been successful and I got upgraded to Business Class seat.

My flight to Bintulu was at evening, around 1630hrs. I checked in my bag at KL Sentral, but for that I need to use KLIA Express to go to KLIA. Went to Domestic Golden Lounge, I really do not have appetite that day. So, I just enjoyed a few Malaysian traditional cakes as my stomach still full of lunch. That day I had a late lunch.

Long story cuts short. I really expected my flight is a new Boeing B737-800, complete with all In-flight entertainment. Unfortunately, maybe my unlucky day, my flight was an old Boeing B737-800 which was an old airplane, old seat and of course no in-flight entertainment. All I can say that I had being TROLLED! Lol.

Even I was not happy with the planes, but the services of Malaysia Airlines always at the top notch. Only a few passengers at the Business Class Seat. Nobody else at my row.

Kuala Lumpur to Bintulu took about 2 hours journey. I always look forward for the flight meals as it was a present which you do not know what will happen. During the flight, I was served with Hi-Tea Meal which was sandwiches, tempura, chicken pie, muffin, local fruits and dessert. No option of meal that day.

I can say it was a light meal. If you are looking at tempura, it was very sad looking, overcooked and dry. Others are okay and quite tasty. As I told you earlier, I was still full and I also ate at the Golden Lounge. So not going to be a problem for me.

For the dessert, I do not know what was it. It’s like a melting ice cream. Or a cream. I never thought it was one of the meal that going to serve on the flight or anywhere else. It just very cheap and sad meal.

Overall, it was a good and smooth flight. I did not sleep during the flight as I was reading the in-flight magazine.
