Regalia Residence by LivingSpace - My Review after 3days 2nights Staycation in Kuala Lumpur

Last weekend, I had a chance to stay at one of the famous apartment in Kuala Lumpur which is known by Regalia Residence and the apartment by LivingSpace. Honestly after this staycation, I was looking online for any room at this property for sale. It is such a nice place to stay.

Regalia Residence is one of the residential service apartments which situated next to the Sunway Putra Mall. But if you looking for a room, you can start looking for a vacant room offered by LivingSpace whether at the AirBnb, Expedia or Agoda.

LivingSpace began operations in 2015 with a 2-bedroom apartment in the Kuala Lumpur City Center. Its founders, lkhram Merican and Yuki Lee were rookies in the hospitality industry but were driven by a common passion to bring their extensive knowledge of the property market into the vacation rental market. The meteoric rise of online travel accommodation websites like AianB provided the platform from which LivingSpace sprung. By Q3 of 2016 LivingSpace held 24 apartments of different sizes in strategic locations to suit a wide range of business and recreational travellers. it has been a steep learning curve and an exciting journey. As of November 2016. we have hosted over 2,000 guests from all over the world with a 4.8 star-rating on average.

The view from the living room, KLCC and KL Tower are in sight.

 TO THE HOTEL (7/10)
If you are first timer to the Regalia Residence, I guaranteed you will miss out the junction to this property as I did.  If you missed it, you will need to make another turn. It will happen always if you are using Uber or GrabCar where the driver will tend to miss the entrance junction. But after a few times, no more problems as you are already familiar.

PARKING (7/10)
Honestly, parking here is not really systematic and quite rip off. There are 3 spots you can choose, first at the ground level, there will be an attendance that watch you vehicle for 24 hours. Here, there rate is RM7 per entry from 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am. But if you are entering at 8am, then you go out at 10pm, you will need to pay twice which will cost you RM14. That is quite confusing as the sign saying RM7 Per Entry.

2nd area is at 4th floor or valet parking. Cost you RM15 and you need to leave your key to the jockey. Quite safe and secured. They will park your vehicle and will ready you car when you needed.

3rd area is inside the building. As you need a card to enter (only for residents), you can ask the security guard to open the gate. But they will ask RM10 for the whole day, that's mean, you will pay once and you can go out and in anytime you want.

CHECK IN (9/10)
The special about staying here that you no need to go through the check-in procedure. What you need to do is telling the time you will arrive at Regalia, and the LivingSpace representative will wait for you and assist and usher you until you reach the room. Then they will explain everything about the security and around the apartments. This is very unique experience. But if you are regular AirBnb user, you will familiar with this kind of treatment.

Comfort sofa, and a nice office table

SECURITY (8/10)
To go to your apartment floor, you need your room card to be scan inside the lift. So it is kind of secured around the apartment. You will see a security everywhere. But as high number of residents here, you will see many people come and go, usually foreigners. Just in case, always lock your apartment doors. Plus, CCTV is everywhere.

LOCATION (9/10)
As it just next to the Sunway Putra Mall, you can walk there without sweating. Plus, the PWTC Station is just next to the mall. As Regalia Residence located in the middle of the heart of KL, no need to worry about UBER & Grabcar fare, it is always cheap.

Love the mirror!

 The complete kitchennette

THE ROOM (9/10)
I can say staying here like staying at my own home. Everything is complete. You have your own wifi, your own room, your own kitchen, even washing machine is provided. So it is really complete apartment. I stayed at TORONTO apartment, where have 1 bedroom. The bed is just nice, not too hard, not too soft. The WIFI connection is fast. The AC is very cold. The kitchenette and toiletries is complete. I didn't find anything that I need which not provided. The view from the room is magnificent. This is the reason I start looking for any apartment in this residence for selling, I might buy it.

CLEANLINESS (9/10)
I must say I am impressed with the cleanliness of the TORONTO room I stayed. But it still can be improved, such as improve their curtain as it is really look messy. But else, it was in tiptop condition.

Cleanliness is one of the hardest variable to consistently maintain. As for LivingSpace, they use clean technology to clean floors making then free from 99.9% of all household bacteria and ensuring excellent hygiene. All other surfaces are cleaned with Clorox Cleaner + B;each, which also kills 99.9% of bacteria and viruses.

COMFORTNESS (9/10)
Comfort is a necessity that cannot be compromised for the typical traveller. After a long journey, you will want peaceful rest

The LivingSpace guarantee is that every guest will get freshly cleaned sheets and towels. Our bedding is a careful balance between cost and comfort. Fresh bottles of water, and high quality coffee, tea, and malt drink  sachets await every guest. All apartments are no smoking zones.

ENVIRONMENT (9/10)
Staying in the apartment is different feeling with staying in hotel. As you don't need to go out as everything is complete in your apartment. I love the environment in this apartment. It has a fresh vibes and chakra. It makes me inspired to move body to make contemporary dance piece for the new song of SIA. As I brought all my works here, the surrounding gave me more energy as I done all my work until 4am in the morning.

Bathroom

The toilet is clean, and washing machine also provided

FACILITIES (9/10)
The highlight of this staycation is the infinity pool. Infinity pool is kinda trend right now everywhere in the big city or even in the jungle. But swimming at the top of 37 floor overlooking the highest twin tower in the world is one of the experience you need to do before you die. But the disadvantage is, it always full of people and you need to take care of your things if you are going into the pool. They have another pool at the lower ground. It's more peaceful and sometimes its full with children. I love the restaurant there which called Hemisphere Restaurant & Bar. They served really good food!

Another swimming pool located at the lower ground

PRICE (8/10)
With the comfortness of the apartments and the infinity pool. I think it is worth the money. Do you know how much to stay at Marina Bay in Singapore just to enjoy the infinity pool? It will cost you a fortune. So that is why I think the price is really worth it. Plus, if you are staying here, I believe you will not staying alone, of course you will stay with your friends or family. That is the first reason you choosing the apartment right? For the room I stay, it cost you RM330, and it is 1200 square feet apartment.
