Day 1

Pengenalan.

Sebenarnya nak pergi melawat Mulu is always in my priority list. Tapi selalunya return flight Kuching~Mulu agak mahal sehinggakan boleh mencecah RM 700. Pernah 2 tahun lepas aku membeli tiket pergi balik dengan harga yang sangat murah, tetapi terpaksa dibatalkan disebabkan budget telah lari that time. Lagipun aku sponsor tiket untuk kawan aku jugak, bila kira-kira balik budget memang tak cukup

Seminggu sebelum I actually to Mulu, kebetulan aku terserempak dengan tiket ke Mulu yang agak murah iaitu hanya RM166 untuk pegi balik. Tapi hanya untuk 3hari 2 mlm. Kalau aku pilih hari balik yang lain, harga jadi mahal. Aku jugak beli insuran dari MH sebab ni naik kapal ATR, aku tak confident sangat. Sebelum aku klik untuk membeli tiket, aku menghubungi Mulu HQ untuk tempah bilik. Memang nak pegi sini, uolz kena booking bilik dulu, once confirmed then barulah beli tiket. Aku beli tiket dulu, rancang kemudian. It’s turn up hari yang aku pegi nih memang cuaca baik. Hujan time malam je biler tour dah abis. Cuma hari aku pegi dan hari selepas aku balik tu hujan lebat. So memang nasib agak baik, kalau tak cuma termenung jelah kat Mulu nih sebab tak dapat nak buat apa-apa sbb kalau hujan all the tour cancel.

Accomodation
Nak tempah tempat tinggal, uolz cuma email je ngan Mulu National Park HQ. Sangat cepat diorang balas email. Make sure uolz confirmkan accomodation dalam email tu. So aku seperti biasa stay kat dormitory room sebab aku sorang je. Hanya RM43. Bilik dorm dier sgt besar. Ada paip but xda hose, so pandai-pandailah planning yer. Toilet lah benda yang aku tgk dulu sbb nanti kalau emergency ‘pelaburan’, you know what to do, taklah tiba2 dah settle baru tau kat situ takda hose, memang naya!.

Bertolak
Just peringatan supaya bawak torchlight sendiri dan bawak kasut coz certain tour mmg hanya benarkan orang pakai kasut sahaja. No selipar-selipar no sandal sandal.

Flight aku delay! Jadual asal terbang jam 10.55pagi, last2 jam 01.20ptg bertolak. Perjalanan dari Kuching ke Mulu mengambil masa 1jam 30minit. Flight tu jugak akan continue ke Brunei. Seperti kebiasaan Mas Wings, korang akan dihidangkan dgn sandwich. Instead of air kotak, anda boleh memilih air yang hendak anda minum. Alhamdulillah, smooth flight walaupun a little bit cloudy. Rough landing. Adoi, takut den! Permandangan sangat cantik time nak landing, sebab hujan renyai, pelangi muncul disebalik gunung2. Pergh, sebijik macam lukisan aku time sekolah sekolah

Welcome to Mulu
Tak terkejut pun dengan airport Mulu. Sangat kecik. Tempat collect luggage tu memang open je. Hahaha. 1st time encounter airport mcam ni. So, kluar je dari airport, uolz akan jumpa satu kedai sebelah kanan uolz, beli kupon shuttle. Diorang hantar naik Pick Up. So gilir2 lah, memang satu tu je pun. Aku try bercakap bahasa Sarawak dengan auntie jaga kupon tu, tapi dibalasnya cakp  mat saleh. Ape2 jelah makcik. Aku rasa makcik tu bangsa Penan sebab bahasa dia agak lain sikit.

Mulu National Park HQ
Nak pegi ke HQ ni, uol kena melalui jambatan gantung. Stylo jugak. So aku daftarlah bilik aku dan buat pembayaran. Oh, uolz kena bayar dulu ye. Disebabkan aku sampai dah around 3ptg, aku terlepas tour jam 2.30. So ptg nih mmg dah xda tour, rehat jelah agaknya. Lagipun hujan. Aku nak join night walk pun x boleh sebab dah full. Oh, ni nak bagi advise, uolz time tempah tempat tinggal, should be tempah tour awal2 yer sebab tour tour nih sgt limited. Nih termasoklah melihat bat exodus tu. Then satu lagi tour aku ambik adalah Deer cave dan Clearwater tour tu. Sebab flight aku balik around 3pm, dier ckp sempat, cuma RM55.

Cafe
Wifi available di cafe sini. Harganya adalah RM5 untuk satu hari. Password ditukar setiap jam 8pagi. So kalau anda ada ramai kwn, cuma sorang jelah beli password, kongsi ramai2. Wifi dia takla laju sgt. Sebab diorang gunakan satelit line. Celcom kat sini dapat Edge, maxis dpt GPRS. Air mineral botol besar 1.5l beharga RM6.50. Dekat gallery souvenier tu, baju hujan berharga RM7.50. Nasi Goreng Ayam + Telur Mata berharga RM11.50. Spaghetti berharga RM15. Rasanya masuk akal jugaklah memandang kawasan ni adalah nowhere kan. Cuma air mineral terlampau mahal.

So, ptg dan malam xda apa sangat yang berlaku coz hujan jer sepanjang hari. Tenang disini. Serangga sini sangat pelik. Belalang bentuk yang unik. Tadi time aku nak balik hostel, ada benda yang terbang atas kepala aku dari pokok besar, mungkin kelawar, worst case scenario langsuir, ehehhe!. Scary giler. Nak jln mlm2 kene bwk torchlight sendiri sbb jln gelap.

Day 2

Aku bangun awal pagi nih sebab malam tadi aku tido sangat awal dalam jam 9malam. Aku tengok minah Denmark 2 orang tu dah xda kat katil. Maybe diorang ambik tour awal pagi kot. So time nak mandi, aku notice yang belalang muka pelik tu still lagi dalam singki. Aku baru perasan yang aku takda bawak second backpack untuk aku trekking ari nih. Terpaksa aku simpan semua barang-barang yang lain dalam locker sebab bagpack tummg aku nak pakai. Like always, first aid kit aku, camera, monopod,  hp, tablet semua aku bawak termasuklah power bank. So bag aku agak berat sedikit lah.

Kopi and air teh boleh ambik je. Ok. Dah kenyang.

My tour guide dah sampai. Johny namanya. Berasal dari Kapit, Sarawak. Ada 6 mat salleh yang lain. 2 dari Germany, 2 dari Belgium, sorang UK and sorang US. Couple Belgium tu memang aku perasan lagi sebab sama flight. Aku actually sgt ngeri dengan lintah, tapi aku buat-buat tak takut jelah, what do u expect in Borneo kan.

Bawak sendiri yer. So, bag aku semakin berat. Air mineral aku pun tinggal setengah. Lupa nak beli. Perjalanan dimulakan. Aku mula berborak dengan pasangan dari Germany. Dia sedang bercuti 2 minggu and decide nak travel kat Malaysia. Instead of travel kat Semenanjung, diorang mmg nak explore Borneo because more interesting katanya. Dia stay kat Berlin, so aku bagitau lah yang plan aku Eurotrip tahun depan. Banyak jugak tips yang dia bagi.

Kami berhenti seketika di hadapan sebuah pokok sebab si guide aku nak tunjukkan serangga yang kat pokok tu. Macam kumbang pun ada, warna putih. First time jugak aku tengok benda alah nih, kalau kat Thailand, dah jadi satay panggang agaknye.

So kami rehat dulu, sape nak pegi toilet, silakan. Semua dah ready, so its time to start the real adventure.

1. Inside my dormitory room for RM43 per night
2. Cafe in Mulu, the only place have Wifi
3. In the deer cave
4. Eden Valley

Kene lalu entrance, which is berkunci, that’s mean mmg masuk kene ade guide. Otw the way tu, ada sekumpulan rama2, kami berhenti seketika sbb matsalleh nie excited tgk rama2. Byk ok!. Tetiba aku terasa seperti dejavu masok ke alam Alice in Wonderland. Ahaks!

Dah puas ambik gambo semua, start lah masok ke Deer Cave. Besarnye. Bau najis kelawar tu seperti biasa, urgh. Dalam gua ni, mmg tangga dah ada, so naik je lah. HeadLight diagihkan sape yang takde. Aku pun pinjam sebab headlight aku bawak dah nak abis bateri pulak. Headlight yang diorang bagi nie busok Ok… berapa ribu dah og pakai headlight ni, confirm mcm2 peluh… *muntah*.. Careful with ur step ye. Sbb gelap dan licin. Make sure korang bwk kasut yang grip ok… its ok to invest dgn kasut yg mahal, at least ur safety terjamin. Bak org2 cakap, safety first. Tak gitu?

Pergh. Tinggi, gelap dan sangat impress with the route. Sampai kat tgh2 gua tu, si Johny tiba-tiba jalan ke rah tepi which is not on path lah. We need to go down the hill, now its time for the real and tough path. Kene turun bukit tanah dan licin. Panjat2 batu, turun dri batu-batuan pakai tali seperti repelling. I don’t expect this at all.

Setelah hampir sampai di luar gua, its time for Eden Walk. Tadi only in Deer Cave. So, this time untuk keluar dari this cave, u need to walk through the river. Which is paras ur dagu ok! I tinggi 168cm, so paras my dagu, dekat2 nak masuk mulut. So sape2 yang rendah dari tu, bygkan. Mat Salleh around their neck. So aku mmg dah standby baju renang inside, aku gune lah with my tight. Letak dalam beg everything, barang electronic letak dalam plastic. Letak ur bag atas kepala, dah lalu lah rintangan. Huhuhu, Sejuk giler…. Make sure stabil ok kalau tak ur bag jatuh. Hancur HP dan camera.

Another challenge adalah u need to walk against the river, cetek dan batu-batuan yang licin dan besar. Sgt susah sih. Salah pijak batu, u might terseliuh or jatuh dalam air. Jauh jugak nak jalan.

Next, its time for trekking. Wow, hutan dan tanah becak. Byk giler pacat like no one business ok. I always hate pacat sbb muka pacat sgt hodoh. Haha! Trekking ni sgt tinggi, I mmg nak give up at first. My bag berat ok and I never expect this tough and I do not have any training and preparation at all. I never read about this tour before just main hentam je. Then I got this! So aku mmg orang yang paling belakang. Aku kuatkan hati jugak, at last sampai jugak kat kawasan air terjun EDEN tu.

Air Terjun Eden, kami sampai kat situ around 12pm jugak. So kat situ, boleh mandi2 dan having ur lunch. Airnya sejuk, cuaca Alhamdulillah tak hujan. Aku masih lagi phobia ngan pacat, tgh check2 kot ada yang pacat tgh gatal nak fikir mcm mane nak hisap darah I…. nasib baik xde, sbb matsalleh sorang tu pacat tgh rilek2 hisap darah kat blakang badan dier. Mcm mane pacat tu dtg tak tau bai…

Another tips tak nak bagi pacat gigih hang, 1. Beli leech sock, stoking lintah ni diperbuat drpd plastic. Uolz sarong sampai ke lutut. Tapi aku tak beli sbb baru tau lepas tu. 2. So, sbg org paling belakang, pacat dah takde... hehehe. Ok tak?

Aku pun mandi2 kat air terjun, enjoy the moment org ckp. Batu2 kat situ sgt licin. Plus ada kawasan yang sgt dalam. Mat Salleh kan ala2 duyung, diorang takut ape. Haha.. Aku je ala2 berenang tepi2 je.

Enjoying the Eden Waterfall

Satu jam jugak relaks kat situ. Its time to go back. Need to go up to the cave.

Pernah tgk cite the Descent? Tetiba movie tersebut in my mind. Seem like somethings always watching you… boleh? Time nie aku rasa mcm the Descent bila sorang minah dalam movie tu terperangkap kat lubang kecik tu.

Dah sampai2 masuk gua, turun guna path yang disediakan, akhirnya sampai kat PitStop Bat Exodus, around 2.30pm sampai. So, the tour sampai kat sini je. Nak tgk Bat Exodus around 5pm-6pm. SO kat sini, boleh tukar baju semua, jemur kasut. Nak beli air boleh. Makan ke, anything. Sbb ada byk masa lagi nak tunggu. Aku baring2 kat sini, took some photos. Anyway, kat sini nanti uolz kene chop awal2 tempat dudok ok…. Expected around 4pm, sini akan penuhh dgn manusia…

Around 5.30pm, nak senja, tunggu punya tunggu, its time for the Bat Exodus. Amazing lah. Sgt lama ok… Around setengah jam jugak. Byk giler kelawar dalam gua tu. I heard berjuta-juta. Mmg tak putus-putus kelawar tu kluar dari gua.

Aku dah puas ambik gamba dan menikmati one of the extraordinary nature phenomenan, aku pun balik hostel. Having my dinner.

Kat hostel, aku berkenalan dgn sorang mamat Miri, dia seorang tour guide. Kalau dipandang sekali memang serabut. Di ajak aku lepak kat restoran di luar HQ. So, malam tu aku follow dia, it’s good to have someone u can talk with. Dia cakap traveling is good to expose dgn dunia luar. Aku pun angguk jelah, aku x bgtau lah pasal backpacking2 aku before ni. Sbb cite dier pun menarik. Sampai kat restoran tersebut, terjumpa member2 aku yg sama pegi Eden Tour. So aku pun join meja diaorang.

Sebenarnya diorang ada Night Walk, tapi kene batal sebab hujan. So, diorang lepak jelah. So aku mulalah borak2 dan buat lawak aku seperti biasa, dengan cite travel aku. So budak Miri tu pun impress jugak. Dia cakap kami berdua ni mmg sama line… Actually when my tour guide nie buka mulut cakap omputed, I was so impressed, accent English dia mmg perfect, kalah aku… British accent beb… rupanya seperti  uneducated but its turn sgt hebat. Sbb dia mmg dah biasa jadi guide, mungkin dia adapt dgn semua accent. Dia pernah tinggal kat Thailand and becoming illegal tour guide sebagai sumber rezeki. Pernah ditempatkan di Myanmar for 3 months ikut rombongan travel agency. It turn out jugak restoran tu adalah restoran family angkat nya. Maksudnya dia mmg slalu sampai di Mulu. Jealous jugak aku sbb aku pun bercita nak jadi travel guide, but leceh nak ambik lessen guide, kene pegi course 6bln, hurmmm.

So malam2 tu aku ngan budak tu lepak2 blakang hostel kami. Seperti biasa, dia main gitarnya, budak ni suka cipta lagu aku pun layan jelah! How I wish I can l play the guitar sbb you can attract more friends when you know how to play guitar and sing ur heart out. Sbb tu beach boy suka main gitar dan they seem very hot for minat matslleh. Muka pecah badan gelap but can get a lot of girl.. hahaha. Lepak sampai lewat pagi.

1. Need to go through the water at your chin level
2. Caving in the Deer Cave
3. Eden Garden
4. Bat Exudos

Day 3

Wacky Wacky. So sleepy. Bila bangun tgk member aku dah takde, aku aku ready, pack my things sbb aku kene check out. So aku just check out je bagi kunci and everything tapi my barang aku letak kat tepi je. Sbb flight aku ptg nanti, boleh aku mandi and relaks sikit2 before nak pegi airport.

After breakfast bagai, berkumpul depan HQ. Johny sekali lagi as my guide. Today is Clearwater & Windy Cave tour. So dah introduce pasal masing2, kami pun start gerak. Kene naik bot, so kene pecah kepada 2 kumpulan. Naik boat macam nie teringat aku fast boat ke Luang Prabang, tapi ni selesa sikitlah.

1st destination is Penan Village. Singgah kat kampong ni dan pegi pasar diorang. Ada jual sourveniers, tapi tak byk pilihan. Aku beli some keychain which is yang dianyam dengan manik. Aku planning keychain ni aku glue dgn magnet, so it can become the fridge magnet lah.

Kat sini jugak ada kejadian malang for me. I drop my phone from monopod. My new Nexus 5 telah jatuh ke lantai dan retak seribu. Sedeyh ok!. After that mmg tak dapat nak ambik gamba dah. Nyesal plak tak bawak camera. Tak pelah.

Naik bot balik, now pegi ke Wind Cave. Sampai kat situ, kene naik tangga sgt tinggi ok! Sampai kat mulut Gua, kalau beg uolz berat sgt boleh tinggalkan kat sini. Sbb takde orang nak ambiklah. So angin masuk dari situ, that is why its called Wind Cave. Kat situ jugak ada section called King’s Chamber. Formation stalagmite dan stalagtite berbagai2, that’s is why its called King’S Chamber. Just ur imigation.

Next, dah abis jalan2 ke Wind Cave. Now next to the Lady Cave. So Lady Cave lah jawapan nya. Kalau cahaya pun mcm lelaki munkin namanya akan jadi Man Cave.. what if kalau bayang2 tu mcm korang confius sikit laki ke ompuan, tak tau plak namanya jadi ape…

1. In the long boat
2. Clearwater River, can swim here for a while
3. High stairs to the Clearwater Cave
4. With my guide, thanks ya!
Next continue ngan ClearWater Cave. Best gak cave nie. Die ade Sungai inside this cave mcm Underground River kat Puerto Princesa. But kat sini kita boleh jalan2 atas gua, the river kat bawah. So kita boleh tgk the river dari atas. Best jugak. Activiti kepasa sesiapa yang minat caving activity, Clearwater ni is Caving Level 3, one of route is u need to swim around 3km. Tough eh?

Puas ngan Clearwater cave, so turun balik ke tempat tunggu boat. So here is the end of the tour, tapi kepasa sesiapa yang nak mandi air sungai, boleh mandi kat sini. Air daripada Clearwater cave. Sejok. Aku malas nak mandi sebab tak nak tukar2 baju. Aku ucap thanks to my guide.

RM5.

Then aku pun check-in. Flight tak delay. Fly balik Kuching then it’s the end of my Mulu journey.

Conclusion
I never expect my adventure kat Mulu turn out my best adventure experience so far. It is out of my comfort zone and I never expect and prepared for this kind. How about pinnacles adventure? Nay… next time, belum ready lagi. Its gonna be tough as climbing the mountain. Actually pegi Mulu is more costly compared pegi oversea such as Indonesia or Thailand. So not all yang dah sampai sini, taklah cliché like Phuket or Bandung or Krabi. Am I regret? No, its worth every penny and experience.

Top 10 KL Hostel Dorm Reviews

This is based my own experience ya!. During my study 4 years in KL, I  still not expose with this “backpacking”, I never know that hostel style is exist. If xda air, tinggal di hotel area Bukit Bintang la jawabnya… Itu dulu… Now, I list out hostel dorm or single room yang I pernah stay, sbb slalu transit sehari2 kat KL before fly out tempat2 lain.…of course uolz boleh baca review kat tripadvisor, or agoda or booking. Everybody have their own opinion. Huhuhu. Dengan mengikut urutan…

1. Matahari Lodge (Pasar Seni)
My favourite so far.  1st thing suka sebab mmg dekat dgn stesen LRT Pasar Seni, Jalan tak sampai 5 minit. Then, kat sini ada lift, tapi nak naik tingkat 1 kene naik tangga sket. Security ok, guna swipe card kalau nak masuk, sebelah 7e. Bilik dorm dia pun selesa, tapi kalau dapat katil kat atas tu, careful sket, sebab sgt tinggi wokeh. Kat sini popular gak, with the cheap price, location and everything, staff diorang pun sgt friendly even with local. Sbb lain jugak sebab dekat dgn my office HQ, Dayabumi… hehehe… mmg recommended. WiFi sgt laju, tapi Cuma dpt kat ruang tamu. So far mingle around with other traveler pun seronok kat situ. Boleh layan DVD or TV kat luar, ada kitchen sendiri.

2. Rainforest Bed & Breakfast (Changkat, Bukit Bintang)
Sesiapa yang suka area Changkat ni mmg recommended this place. Dorm dia 3 katil. Inilah katil dorm yang paling selesa for me, empuk mcm 5star, like seriously. Bilik dia pun cantik, ala2 chalet. Every floor ada ruang tamu sendiri. Breakfast pun ok kat bawah. Tapi tak seronok sgt sbb tak byk mingle kat traveler.

3. Fernloft Malaysia (Pasar Seni)
My 2nd favorite dorm kat area Pasar Seni, mmg sebelah je ngan Matahari Lodge. Murah sedikit sbb dia ada choice nak bilik berapa byk katil. Ada yang sampai 20 katil. Tapi aku slalu stay dalam bilik 4 ngan 6 katil je, sbb bagi aku still murah lagi. Security sini pun ok, kena swipe card masok entrance, dan every floor pun kene swipe. Toilet bersih. Bilik 6 orang tu kecik. Bilik 4 orang tu mmg rekomended.Receptionist dia Pinoy, friendly, boleh tanye mcm2 benda ngan dia. Ruang tamu kat sini pun besar. Tapi kat sini diorang auto OFF aircon dari pagi, ptg ON balik. So, mmg xlehla nak tido seharian kat bilik.

4. Pujangga Homestay Bukit Bintang (Bukit Bintang)
OK… I love this still of guesthouse. Ni kat area rumah teres betul2 sebelah Changkat tu. Senang je nak cari. Kene masok pagar. Tapi receptionist aka owner tak peramah sgt, maybe Im local kot. Bilik dia selesa. Turn out aku sorang je dalam dorm tu, so big deal. Tapi agak boring lah. Yang penting UNIFI, puas hati…

5. Serai Inn Hostel (Masjid India)
Serai Inn ni I walk-in time ni, try Raggae Guesthouse tapi dah full (tapi aku rasa x full sbb sini racist sikit), turn up aku sorang jugak dalam bilik ni. Tapi uncle ni friendly sikit, slalu borak2 ngan dia kat reception. Tapi time malam entrance dia gelap dan sunyi ok. Perempuan tak recommended.

6. Palmmers Guest House (Pasar Seni)
Aku stay sini pun dah byk kali. Paling murah hostel di area Pasar Seni kalau book guna agoda. Cuma RM20  for dorm. At first, mmg aku tak jumpa pun entrance for this guest house. Rupanya entranc10e dia dia antara central market & CIMB tu. Tapi bangunan Cuma sebelah KFC sentral market, menghadap belakang. Byk tangga kene naik. Kat sini feeling dia “moody” sikit, suram. Tak seronok sangat. Tilam dia nia I tak berapa suka sangat sebab diorang tak buang plastic tu… Kalau baring tu mmg ada Bunyi plastic, setiap kali gerakkan badan time tido. Sungguh annoying.

7. Pondok Lodge (Changkat Bukit Bintang)
Ok… nie paling murah area BB kot… 2 kali stay sini. Mmg betul2 tgh Changkat. Tingkat atas sebelah club 21. Malam susah nak tido sebab bising dengan club2 disekitar. Jika mmg planning nak berjimba2 area tu, lagipun CS activity weekly pun kat situ, ok jah tinggal akt sini….

8. Sasana Hotel Petaling Street (Petaling Street)
Permulaan nak cari hotel ini lucu sikit. Terletak betul2 kat tgh Petaling Street, dekat dengan pintu gerbang depan masuk. Kalau dari luar mmg akan Nampak signboard. Tapi that time mmg aku dah Nampak signboard tu. Sampai2 aku Nampak byk massage girl. “sudah, aku dah salah pilih tempat ni”, mmg entrance tu penoh ngan pompuan. Tapi aku redah jugak sampai ke reception. Dgn backpack aku minah2 usha jer, Bila kat reception, aku ckp ngan uncle tu “nak check in bilik”… terus uncle tu cakap.. “haiyo, bukan sini, sebelah”…. Lega aku, ingatkan tersalah pilih hotel. Nak masok hotel ni, pintu dia kunci by swipe card. So mmg secure. Kalo org pelik2 nak masok, mmg akak tu tak bukak pintunya. Aku stay kat single room. RM50. Walaupun single room, biliknya ada bathroom sendiri. Not bad. Dalam bilik ada UNIFI, laju. Mmg tak kluar bilik aku. A/C dia sejuk gila. For RM50 mmg berbaloi if u want some privacy lah.

9. Matahari 2 Lodge
Actualy I stay sini time diorang baru nak bukak lagi. Takda sign board. Terletak dalam central martet, kena jalan masok lagi sebelah kedai mamak. Depan OCBC bank kalau tak silap. Jenuh aku cari time nie, aku call tanye direction. Rupenye hostel ni mmg kat depan aku jerk. Cuma diorang tulis nama hostel guna A4 je. Patut pun tak jumpa, entrance pun kecik. Lebih kurang Matahari Lodge jugak konsepnya. Tapi yang jaga kat sini matsalleh2. Still sunyi lagi sbb baru lagi time nie. Kat sini bising sbb mmg sebelah laluan bas. Mmg aku x rekomen tempat ni, malam2 nak jalan sunyi betul lebih2 lagi CM dah tutup. U need to walk jln yg sunyi dan gelap. Nasib baik I x apa-apakan…boleh? Ahaha

10. Cintamani Travellers Lodge (Masjid Jamek)
Anyway, sini aku bukan stay dorm or single. Aku stay triple room. Triple room for rm70, so kira murahlah if korang bertiga. Tapi bilik dia kuno sikitlah. Dekat jugak ngan Masjid Jamek LRT tu, seberang Mydin Kota tu. Tapi aunty yg depan reception tu garang sikit, hahaha. Nak main PC kene bayar. Ntah pape….

Thanks all. Harap Membantu

1. Krabi Town - Aku sewa motor, hujan lebat time tu. Lepas sewa motor, aku pun nak jalan2 cari stesen minyak. Its been a long time since I bawak motor. Dalam syok-syok bawak, suddenly kereta kat depan emergency brake. Aku gelebah lalu tersalah tekan brake, tertekan brake depan plak. Terus tak dapat kawal dan eksiden. Motorsikal scratch terok. Aku xdapat nak bangun for 1 minutes sebab perut senak. Nasib baik terjatuh kat tepi jalan depan kedai. Terus orang kat kedai tu tolong. Cakap melayu. Lepas tu aku releks kejap, pastu dah Ok sikit terus balik. Next 3 days nak pulangkan motor tu, sbb passport diorang pegang, if anything kene ganti balik. Sebab scratch tu sebelah kanan motor, aku bawak motor masok kedai nak pulangkan menghadap sebelah kiri. Terus ambik passport, terus blah naik minivan ke Surat Thani.
1. Krabi Town - I rented the motorcycle and that time was heavy rains. After I rented the motorcycle, I want to go the gas station. It is been a long time since I ride the motorcycle. When I in good feeling riding, suddenly the car in front emergency stopped. I was shocked and wrongly pushed the brake, it was the front brake. I can't controlled my motorcycle and got an accident. It was badly scratch on the motorcycle. I can't get up for 1 minutes because of my stomach hurts. Luckily it happened in front of the small shop. The owner of the shop came giving help. He can speak Malay. I relaxed for a short time, after OK then get back to hostel. Next 3 days I want to return the motorcycle, because they hold my passport when rented the motorcycle, if anything happened, I need to pay or else no passport for me. Because of the scratch at the right side, I brought the motorcycle to the rented shop facing left side. Chat a little bit, took my passport then I left Krabi immediately to Surat Thani. Of course I felt guilty. But I do not have enough money.

2. Phuket - This time, open my eyes about how important "vaccination" before travel. From airport Bangkok, I wanna fly to Phuket. At here, dah rasa tak sedap badan, mcm nak start fever. Yes, sampai di Phuket, aku pun demam, berhari jugak. Tapi tetap jugak ditempuh, 3 hari di Phuket, 1 hari di HatYai, 2 hari di Penang, aku still demam. Tak nak jumpa doktor walaupun ada travel insurance coz alanag2 nak balik Kuching, kalau kene tahan wad, leceh nak beli tiket baru n claim2. Once touch down Kuching fly from Penang terus pegi hospital and admit. Once investgation, been contaminated with Salmonella, maksudnya keracunan makanan or else Typhoid Fever. Admit 3 hari. Worst experience. So pengajaran, ambik vaccination Typhoid Fever! Actually I really thought I got Malaria since my friend who was my roomate in Bali, terkena Malaria, he admitted for 10days...
2. Phuket - This time, open my eyes about how important "vaccination" before travel. From Bangkok airport, I want to fly to Phuket. At here, I felt sick, like want to have a fever. Yes, arrived Phuket, I was having fever for a few days. But still insisted to go to clinic, 3 days in Phuket, 1 day In Hat Yai, 2 days in Penang, I still fever. I do want to go to the clinic even though I got travel insurance because I want to wait going back to Kuching, if I warded in hospital, it so difficult to buy a new flight ticket plus with the claims and everything. Once I touched down Kuching Airport, straight went to hospital and got admitted. Once investigation, been contaminated with Salmonella, means food contaminated or else Typhoid Fever. Ewww. In hospital for 2 days, worst experience so far. So the lesson is, take the vaccination or Typhoid Fever. Actually I really thought I infected with Malaria since my friend who was my roomate in Bali, infected by Malaria, he hospitalised for 10 days!

Khai Island, Phuket, Thailand

3. Chiang Kong - Huay Xai - Aku nak cross Thailand-Laos this time. So, decided nak save time. So, aku ambik Fast Boat, perjalanan 9jam, Hotel aku cakap, I ambik chop departure Thailand then agen akan sampai disitu then I akan cross Laos. Package around Rm180+. After I got my chop depart Thai, I wait n wait, agen tak sampai2. Worst feeling ever. Bygkan. I dont really have any idea that time, sbb chop keluar dah dpt, so I officially bukan Thailand tourist lagi. Call punya call, Alhamdullillah, agent dtg, tapi kelam kabut sikit sbb dah lambat. Naik Fast Boat another story, Fast Boat semua orang cakap sgt bahaya. One mistake, ur boat akan terbalik. Tempat kecik, duduk lutut kat dada, bygkan for 9 hours, laju dan sgt sejuk. Akhirnya selamat jugak sampai Luang Prabang, Laos. Now I can say I survived the Fast Boat. Ape brg slow boat wei...
3. Chiang Kong - Huay Xai - I want to cross Thailand-Laos this time, So I decided to take the fast boat with 9 hourse journey because of the time constrain. My hotel owner said, I need to stamp for Thailand departure, then the agent will wait for me there then I will crossing Laos. The package is around RM180+. After I stamped for Thailand departure, I wait and wait but my agent didn't came. Worst feeling ever. You imagine right, I really do not have any idea that time, because my passport already stamped departure, so I am not officially Thailand's tourist. I try to call my hotel, later, my agent came, but it was quite late and a little bit rushing. Another story is riding the fast boat, everyone said the fast boat is dangerous. One mistake, your boat might collapse. Small space, you sit with your knee at your chest, imagine for 9 hours, it was fast and cold! At last, arrived safely in Luang Prabang, Laos. Now I can say I survived the Fast Boat.

4. Chiang Mai - After I arrived at Chiang Airport, so naek tuktuk to my hostel. When I sampai di hostel, I realize drop my handphone somewhere. Rasanya I drop it at airport. Luckily that Tuktuk belum jalan lagi, so I asked him to go back to the airport. Sampai kat airport, I really do not know what to do actually, nak tanya orang pun susah. Dalam I jalan kiri-kanan kiri-kanan, tetiba ada sorang mamat dtg, dan dia bagi my handphone... owhhh...! dia tengok gamba kat dalam handphone tu and he waited for me... how wonderfull......
4. Chiang Mai - After I arrived Chiang Mai Airport, I rode a tuktuk to my hostel, when I arrived at my hostel, I realized that I had dropped my mobile phone somewhere. I think I drop it at the airport. Luckily my tuktuk still there, so asked him to go back to the airport. Arrived at the airport, I really do now know what to do actually, want to ask around but got some language barrier. When I walked around, suddenly 1 guys approached me, give me my mobile phone... owhh! He saw my photos in my mobile phone and he waited for me.... How wonderful!

5. Guangzhou, China - Masa ni I rasa dunia sgt kecik. I went to couchsurfing gathering in Guangzhou. Here, diorang sangat active, mmg gathering diorang setiap minggu. Suddenly one of them said "I know you!, I saw in Jakarta last time". I was shocked. I really thought he got the wrong person. When I asked when is it, he said it was 2 years ago... Luckily it was correct. Maybe when I travel people seem remembering my face. Hahaha...
5. Guangzhou, China - This time I realized how small is our world. When I went to couchsurfing gathering in Guangzhou, in here, they are quite active, there are weekly gathering. Suddenly one of them said "I know you!. I saw you in Jakarta last time". I was shocked, I really thought he got the wrong person. When I asked when was it, he said it was 2 year ago. 6. Sulawesi - I lost my departure card!!! Aku tak sedar bila my departure card hilang, whether in Bali, Lombok or Makassar. Aku tersangatlah nervous! Aku try google kat internet, mmg leceh jugaklah. So, dengan perasaan nervous aku tempuh jugak kaunter imigresen. Imigresen lelaki, dengan muka bengis, that time, ada kawan dia pompuan tengah buat kerja kat sebelah, so time nie dia ok lagi. Aku cakap my card hilang, dia soal kenapa hilang dan bagai. Dia handout the new card. Aku still nervous. Aku isi lagi. Dah abis isi, aku pegi kaunter balik, sudah... kawan pompuan dia dah tak de kat situ. Dia bertambah bengis. Dia tak nak copkan aku nyer passport. Aku actually dah tau dia mintak sogok. Aku dah sembunyi awal2 semua duit. Pastu dia mintak duit RM100!. Aku cakap aku xda duit. Aku buat2 nak call embassy. Dia cakap call lah!. Pas tu aku blah kejap. Pas tu datang balik. Aku tunjukkan dompet aku aku cuma ada ada 150k je tinggal kat dia. Dia bincang2 lagi ng kawan dia. Dia tak nak!. aku cakap aku dah takde duit dah (padahal ade lagi). Pastu aku pura2 keluarkan rm10 lagi dan cakap nak nie ji yg tinggal. MMgg xda duit dah. Dia cakap ok, and pesan jgn hilang lagi lain kali. Worst giler... aku nervous, hanya tuhan je yg tau perasaan time tu, mcm mane kalo aku x dpt balik...waaaa..... Pastu aku google2, kadang2, org yg hilangkan departure card nie aku kene blacklist for the next trip. Alhamdullillah my next Indonesia trip lepas.... :) Pengajaran, Jgn hilangkan departure card anda escpecially di Indonesia. Make sure diorang staple your departure card to ur passport, if check-in hotel check balik ur departure card.
6. Sulawesi - I lost my departure card!! I did not realized when I lost my departure card, whether in Bali, Lombok or Makassar. I was so nervous! I tried to google in internet, the process was quite complicated. So, with my nervous face I go to the immigration counter.  A male with fierce face, but that time his female workmate besides him, so this time he was okay. I told him I lost my departure card, he asked me how I lost it and where. He gave me the new card. I am still nervous and filling the card. Completed and then I went back to the counter, his female workmate already left, he now becoming super fierce, he do not want to stamp my passport, actually I know he want me to bribe him. I already hide all my money early. He asked for RM100 (Yes, in RM), I told him I do not have money. I tried to act like I want to contact my embassy. I left the counter and back again. I showed him my wallet with only 150k rupiah in there. He discussed with his friend something. Then I acted like I searching my money in my pocket, and gave them RM10, and I said that was my last money. He said OK and reminds me not to lost my card again. Really worst, I was really nervous only God knows my feeling that time. What if I cannot went back, then I try to google, they said, sometime whoever lost their departure card, might be blacklisted for the next trip. Alhamdulillah my next Indonesia trip went smoothly. The lesson is, do not lost your departure card especially in Indonesia. Make sure they stapled your departure card in your passport, if you checking-in your hotel, double check your passport and your departure card.

7. Luang Lrabang to Vang Vieng - That day, was my worst 7 hrs journey. Kepala sakit dan hati pun sakit. From Luang Prabang, 7hrs journey, I naik minivan dengan jalan bengkang-bengkok yang sgt bahaya. Sesiapa yang pernah ikut jalan nie tahu kot what I am talking about. Anyway, nak dijadikan cerita, coz I was solo, of course they gave me dudok depan. Yes, I dapat dudok depan. Tempat dudok depan actually ada 3, 1 for driver, center dan paling tepi passenger seat. I dudok depan, fine... tetiba ada sorang minah tua omputed masok last. Because I was the first dpt naek, so, i should take the seat paling tepi (more comfortable). I kluar, bagi dia masuk dulu dudok, tapi minah ni cakap tak nak masuk. Beberapa kali aku suruh masok dia taknak. Dengan hati yang panas, aku pun mengalah masuk dulu dan duduk tengah for the next 7hrs. Sbb ape tak nak dudok tgh sbb dok kat tengah xde tempat sandar kepala. Bygkan to keep ur head str8 for the next 7hrs walaupun if u want to sleep. Worst! Nasib baik lepas tu org yg dudok blakang compliment me as a Gentleman and a Good Man.... Tapi sepanjang perjalanan mmg hati sakit woo... tambah2 lagi minah tua tu leh tanya, Where is Malaysia.
7. Luang Prabang to Vang Vieng - That day, was my worst 7 hrs journey. I was having a headache and annoying situatin. From Luang Prabang, 7hrs journey, I ride the minivin with super dangerous road. Whoever been in this road, they will know what I am talking about. Because I was solo, of course they gave me to sit next to the driver. Actually, in minivan, 3 person can seat in front. Then, there was a white women tourist, also solo, and last to ride this minivan. So, because I was the first one, I want to seat at the window (more comfortable), so I went out first, to let this white women to seat in front at the center, the the women insisted. A few times I told her to go inside, still insisted. With my "hot temperature" heart, I went to sit back inside and sit at the middle for the next 7 hourrs. Why did not want to seat in the middle, because no head support, imagine you need to keep your head staright for the next 7 hours even if you want to sleep. Worst! Luckily, the other passengers who sat at the back compliment me as a gentleman and a good man. But, along the ride, it was annoying plus the white woman as me "Where is Malaysia?"

8. Vang Vieng - I stay kat hostel called Spicy Laos Backpacker. Sesapa yang pernah tinggal sini tahu lah mcm mane keadaannya. Let me describe the dorm. This dorm dikelilingi hutan. Then, no wall ok.. so thats mean, its an open air dorm. Each bed ada nyamuk net. So basically, if u lay on ur bed, mmg akan nampak hutan yang gelap. That night, i felt so tired. Maybe that time bukan peak time, matsalleh2 of course lepak2 kat bar tgh2 malam. Diorang ajak, Tapi aku malas sebab nak rehat. Unfortunately that time, tinggal aku sorang. Punyalah sunyi. Cuma bunyi dengar cengkerik je. Bukak mata nampak hutan. Bace je la doa ape2 yang patut. Nasib baik xde bende yg bukan2 muncul. Scary giler that time. I wonder mcm mane antu Laos eh?
8. Vang Vieng - I stayed at the hostel called Spicy Laos Backpacker. Whoever been stayed in this place knows how is the condition. Let me describe the dorm. This dorm is surrounding by jungle. Plus no wall, thats mean its an open air dorm. Each bed got their own mosquito nett. So basically, if u lay on your bed, you will see the dark of the forest. That night, I felt so tired. Maybe that time not the peak time, all other dormmate maybe hanging out at the bar. He invited me but I was too tired. Unfortunately that time, I was the only one left. It was so quite. If I opened my eyes, I can see the jungle. I prayed so nothing unwanted thing will not come out that night. That was scary night. I wonder how is the Laos version of ghost?

9. Koh Samui - My ferry should be around 8am. They picked me up 7am. My last day, I need to arrive Hat Yai esok hari to catch the flight. My money pun cukup2 untuk beli tiket ferry and bus. Semua dah beli... OK, nak dijadikan cerita. On that day the day I should back to Hat Yai, I woke up at 12pm!!!.. Bayangkan. I miss my ferry and my bus. Trus terjun pegi hotel lobby, terus diorang bgtau "U la orang dicari!", my mistake also sebab tak bagi nombor bilik. So I grab tuktuk, dgn keadaan mamai lagi, terus pegi jetty. Unfortunately no refund and the next fast ferry was the next day. Duit dahlah takde. I cari lagi another company. Yes, dapat. Slow ferry. Then I need to catch a train coz semua minibus dah tutup, sama gak ngan bus (sampai surat Thani around 6pm). Only 1 choice left, which was naek train. Train pun around 12am je and naek class yang paling murah (guna fresh air, tingkap bukak tempat dudok keras). Sampai Hat Yai dalam 8pagi. Then trus ke airport. Time tu still tak percaya lagi I dah sampai kat airport because I really believe that I cannot make it on time.
9. Koh Samui - My ferry will be depart at 8am. They picked me up at the hotel at 7am. My last day, I need to arrive Hat Yai tomorrow to catch my flight. My money just enough for the ferry ticket and bus. All been bought. Ok, here what had happened. On the day I should go back to Hat Yai, I woke up at 12pm!. Imagine I miss my ferry and my bus. I rushed to the hotel lobby and then they said "U were the guy they waiting for", my mistake because did not gave my room number. So, I grabbed a tuktuk, and went to the jetty. Unfortunately no refund and the next fast ferry is the next day. I have no money, luckily there are ATM machine around. I try to find another ferry company, luckily there was a slow ferry available. Then I need to catch a train because the minibus station already closed, also the coach bus. Only 1 choice left, which was riding a midnight train. The train was around 12am and I chose the most cheapest class (using fresh air, and very hard chair). Arrived Hat Yai around 8am. Then straight went to the airport. I still did not believe that I safely arrived at the airport because I really thought that I can not make it and miss my flight.
