Because of my ship dry docking in Johor Bahru for 3 weeks, I used that opportunity to visit the new theme park, Legoland Malaysia situated in Nusajaya, Johor Bahru. It was around August 2012 and the VLOG was posted in Youtube around September where many negative comments because I was wrong in certain fact, I was very sorry later.

I was with my 2 friends visiting Legoland on the weekdays. Luckily, not so crowded and the queue up less than 10 minutes most of the times. We arrived around 10AM and it was very hot day. Everyone knows that Legoland is hot!

The entrance ticket is RM140. If you show your mycard, you will get discount for RM30. So the ticket price is RM110. If you with your friends, only 1 person need to show their mycard. So, if you want some discount, bring your Malaysian friends ya!

When you enter Legoland, there are many shops along the street, mostly souvenier shops. Just skip it, and back when you want to go home. Do not forget to take the map. You need to choose, you want to start from left or right, you we just start from left side.

Area 1 is Lego Technic, nothing fancy. Technic Twister is like normal games in funfair which is the spinning cup. Playing this game as my first game in Legoland was a big disaster, ruined my mood because I started to dizzy and feeling not very good. Next is The Project X, it is a rollercoaster, 4 person per ride. So scary and I scream so loud.

Area 2 is Lego Kingdom, which is very big castle and fancy music. Here there is a Dragon Ride also a rollercoaster but many riders. Much more fun, not that scary if compared to The Project X.

Area 3 is called Imiganation. Most of here is for children. And some big lego sculture such as giraffe and dinasours. The 4D cinema also situated in here. But the movies not really interesting like Shrek 4D in Universal Studio Singapore. But OK, maybe still not very familiar with LEGO cartoons. We were having lunch here at Pizza Mania. Yummy. Expensive and small portion. We still hungry.

Area 4 is Land of Adventure. There is Dino Ride, which was closed when we there. If open, I also don’t want to play. Don’t want to wet my shirt. Then, there is building like Egypt with mummy and everything. All made by Lego. Here you can play Lost of Adventure where you in a slow ride and you need to shoot something along the ride.

Area 5 is Miniland. Miniature of the famous landmark in Asia made of by Lego. Indonesia, they choose Kuta, Bali. China, they choose Forbidden City & Great Wall of China, Singapore with their Clark Quay, Brunei with their Kings Palace, Vietnam with Hoi An, Cambodia of course Angkor Wat, India with their Taj Mahal. A lot of miniature from Johor Bahru and Kuala Lumpur such as KLIA, Putrajaya, KLCC and etc.

Area 6 is Lego City. You can ride a slow train around the Legoland. Actually this should be the first activity in the Legoland. It’s like the introduction of everything happening in here. This is where the beginning and the end. Buy your souveniers in here.!

Lastly, enjoy Legoland. Sorry for the wrong fact in my VLOG ya.

This is my Bandung 3.0 Edition mean this was my 3rd time visiting Bandung, Indonesia. Believe it or not, this was my second time went to Saung Angklung Udjo. My first time was around 2006 when I was in year in my university for the student exchange programme for 2 weeks in Bandung.

The place is still the same when I was here 6 years ago. But the activities in this center is quite improving. Actually I really like this place for nows.

The activities for 2 hours are fun. You can learn how to play Angklung. Who still does not know what is Angklung, it is one of the instrument made of bamboo. Every Angklung has its own chord. The entrance fee for this center is 60k rupiah, about RM20. Once you enter, you will be given one Angklung each, with each Anglung have different cord.

I was late for 1 hour because I was at North of Bandung before. To come here was very last minute decision.

Mr Udjo is really good teacher. Love every song we played. The sound of Angklung is very harmony and peaceful. There is performance from the students of the center which was very amazing. And last, you can dance together with the performer.

It was fun evening in Saung Angklung Udjo. Do not forget to buy some souveniers to bring home. I will definitely be back here again!

Actually, along this river, there are few groups performing as there are 2-3 show station. It is depends on your cruise. Only 1 station per cruise. I love this group.

White Water Rafting, Chiang Mai + VLOG

I fall in love with White Water Rafting. Actually this was my first time for white water rafting. It was so fun and scary for some times. This activities was carried out in the Mae Tang River. The water is so cold.

I did not bring any camera while rafting because I was afraid that my camera will fall down in the water and the possibilities for your raft capsize is HIGH. You can scream as loud as you want. They provided the lifejacket and helmet. No shoes allowed. Don't panic if the raft is capzise and you do not know how to swim. The other member will save you, remember you have a lifejacket right?

This activities was one of the activities in the jungle trekking tour. There were 7 activities all-in and most of the activities are carried out at the Mae Tang area. The company who run this tour also name Mae Tang Tour Company.

So, you should try this if you never before. I am gonna doing this again maybe in Sabah or Perak. Yeah!!

Khai Island,Thailand + VLOG

I always love island. Khai Island is one of my favorite place in Phuket. Khai Island is small and the ocean is so blue-greenish and good for snorkeling.  Around the island, you need to rent a rest chair, it is around 100baht per one day.

Khai Island Travel VLOG.
Visit my Youtube channel for more videos: www.youtube.com/mytravellicious

You can get tour for this island from any company in Patong Town. Wether you want to spend your whole day in this island, or else. Like me, Khai Island is one of the island hoping for the Phi Phi Tour. You know right the Phi Phi Tour is around 1200 baht and the journey always make me seasick even though I am a seafarer. Hahaha.

So, for snorkeling, of course do not forgetto buy some bread. To save money, buy a bread at the town. Cheaper. They sold the bread for 20-40baht only for 5-8slices. You can get a whole bread with that value of money.

The sky is blue and the weather is amazing. Next time to Phuket, this island is absolutely in my list to relax. Enjoy my video and you will know why. :)

House of Sampoerna, Surabaya

On the last day in Surabaya, I decided to visit a very popular tobacco museum. Even though I am not a smokers, but as a traveler/visitor, at least I pay a visit to this famous place.

To go to this place, it's located at the center of the city. I went to here by a Bluebird taxi from my hotel. Once I reached here, there are only 5-6 visitors inside. It's quite late already (around 8pm). The Entrance is free.

House of Sampoerna, the name given. It's represent the brand of cigarette "SAMPOERNA". It's Indonesian most famous cigarette.

The House of Sampoerna is a museum that exhibits from the story of the founder of Sampoerna, Liem Seeng Tee to history of tobacco making. One part of the museum shows the history of how this place was found. It starts from Seeng Tee moving to Indonesia after the death of his wife until how he found the old building of Dutch-supported orphanage. There are displays of Seeng Tee’s old objects such as his bicycle, motorcycle, and equipment and objects related to tobacco.

There is a tobacco plant within the building where 3,500 women are rolling Dji Sam Soe cigarettes. But the time I was there, the factory are closed as it's quite late. You can't took any photos of this area.

There is a cafe next to the this museum, or you can buy some souvenir upstair. If you using a taxi, keeping a BLUEBIRD taxi is quite useful as you need to register your mobile number to the taxi company only once, then every time you called, they already know your details.

The operating time is from 1100 hrs till 1500hrs and open again from 1730 hrs till 2330 hrs.

The desert i ordered is called "Es Pasir".

Enjoy!

White Temple, Chiang Rai + VLOG

I had opportunity to visit Chiang Rai in Thailand. Chiang Rai is up at north of Thailand and 2 hours using a bus from Chiang Mai.

The most popular place and a trademark is a White Temple. I chartered a tuk-tuk for a return trip from town. Just haggle the price first before you start the journey. I am very sorry that I forgot the price last time. It's around 20 minutes journey from the town.

Wat Rong Khun more well-known among foreigners as the White Temple, is a contemporary unconventional Buddhist temple in Chiang Rai, Thailand. It was designed by Chalermchai Kositpipat in 1997 (The one with Kung Fu pose in the photo with me).

You can't take any photos from inside the temple. And you will surprised to see what in the temple wall. From Star Wars character to the Japanese Anime character. It just weird.

So, if you visiting Chiang Rai, put the White Temple on your list!

Munduk Waterfall, Bali

I had visited Munduk Waterfall on our 3rd day in Bali. Situated at Banjar District, Buleleng regency.
You will drive through the hills which is quite dangerous. Make sure you find good driver and guide.!

Do you know what is Munduk mean is Balinese? It's Up and Down. Ya, quite agree, the hills, the road is up and down.

I always love waterfall. The name of the waterfall is the same with the village name, Munduk Village. You will park your vehicles and later need to walk down to the hill around 250m. The entrance fee around 5000rupiah.

Along the way, you will see many spices tree. Its like you walk into the herbal garden. The air is quite cool. This waterfall is very high and so beautiful. You can't swim here as the water is too cold.

Because when you are coming, you walked down to the hill, going back is vice versa. Going up, its very tiring for who ever not working out or have a healthy life (exercise). Do not forget to buy some souveneirs on the way out. (Spices mostly)
There is another waterfall 1km away and taller. But Munduk Waterfall is enough to fullfil your schedule.
